A Day in the Life…

At the Nursery

Parents are the most important influence in a child’s education. Therefore, Bricks 4 Kidz Nursery & Preschool aims to involve parents in their child’s learning process. Talking to your child about their daily experiences at preschool is a sure way to encourage positive feelings toward learning. Below is an example of the daily routine experienced by children in our nursery program.

Daily Schedule

7:15 am – 8:30 am — Welcome/Free Play

Infants and toddlers are welcomed into the large and secured play area with age appropriate toys and activity areas.

8:30 am – 9:00 am –Breakfast/Diapering

9:00 am – 10:00 am –Learning Room

Children enter one of the large learning rooms and engage in story and song with the ECE professional. Flashcards,letter and number sounds, vocabulary building, and interactive learning also takes place during this hour.

10:00 am – 10:30 am –Snack/Diapering

10:30 am – 11:00 am — Hands on Activity

Children learn to handle toxic-free crayons, paint, and clay. Hand crafts and messy play happens here!

11:00 am – 11:30 am –Sport or Games

Hide and seek, peek-a-boo, jumping, rolling, hand clapping, and a lot of laughter. The point is to get your child moving and grooving during this half hour.

11:30 am – 12:00 pmLEGO®

Children play with large LEGO® Pieces, learn to stack,build, and destroy!

12:00 pm – 12:45 pm –Diapering/Departure

*The aforementioned schedule is a sample of any one day in the life of a child at the Bricks 4 Kidz nursery. It is subject to change depending on the lesson theme, special events, and particular needs of the children.
